I served as the Director of Virginia Commonwealth University's 33rd Annual Step Show. Fall Block is an event that features members of historically black fraternities and sororities, also known as The Divine Nine. Members of these organizations worked and practiced for months to create a dynamic show that showcases their individual members' talent and coordination while exemplifying their organization's values.

During my tenure as Director, for the very first time, the Step Show fully sold out the Altria Theatre at 3,565 attendees and saw a profit. This was made possible by a stellar team of volunteers and our commitment to building community. We wouldn't have been able to see a complete ROI without fostering a relationship between our organization and campus partners for financial and promotional sponsorships. We pulled back the curtain on the culture and history behind the show to welcome students, staff, and the greater Richmond, Virginia area into the know so they could share in the excitement and not just be a bystander.
